We recommend room-temperature disinfection with Peroxigen® Activo without rising.
Due to its biodegradable condition and bactericidal effect, Peroxigen® Activo is strongly recommended for the treatment of water used in the various cosmetic products formulations: shampoos, hair conditioners, lotions, soaps, etc.
Preservatives
There are strong movements in the US and EU to discontinue the use of ingredients that may lead to cancer or other adverse effects to consumers in the long term.
There is an important trend to use the minimum possible amount of ingredients containing halogens and amines due to the long-term formation of cancerous nitrosamine. The following are included among the abovementioned: chlorine, amines, ammonia and combinations thereof.
In this regard, our product Glutabac® Plus is specially designed for its use in the cosmetic industry and included in the list of preservatives SGT No. 11, Mercosur Commission, Minute No. 02/06, Order No. 41 – Glutaraldehyde (Glutaral).
Under this scenario, formulations containing Glutabac® Plus turn out to be more convenient in view of its conditions:
